Too Many Games Convention (Ended)

Our next Major Event is at the Too Many Games Tournament.

We'll be at the convention on Friday, May 6th through Sunday, May 8th, but our tournaments will only be on Saturday and Sunday.

There's a little hiccup with the final decision for the tournaments, but we are having our Marvel Vs Capcom and SoulCalibur 4 Tournaments at the Convention.

Are you guys driving each way every day? That's a good two hour drive from where I am, so I'm just curious.

Unfortunately, we'll have too unless you guys want to get a hotel room for the weekend. I have no way to get down on Friday cuz of my job and I talked to Travis and Josh about going in my place on Friday to sell DVDs for the first day.

They want us there on Friday and won't let us fully set up on Saturday for some reason... but our equipment, supplies and other things other than decorations will come back with us regardless.

It's up to you guys if you want to get a room for any of those days. I got at least 4 three day passes for us to get in as it's apart of our table fee so there's no problem there. Just ask for the spare for myself if you go with them on Friday.

Would I be able to purchase passes at the door? I have no problem going down and helping & seeing the vendors and stuff. I have no idea what all Travis is planning for that weekend because May 9th is his birthday. I'll text him when he wakes up.

Maybe we can organize some sort of car pooling to make travel easier & cheaper, as I think paying for the gas there and back would be cheaper than a hotel room. Then again a hotel room doesn't cost much if you have a bunch of people splitting the bill and it may be easier as far as transporting equipment.

You can purchase tickets at the door if we have more people help out at the both, I can cover part of the cost too.

Our equipment is the tournament stuff (TVs, consoles, cables), decorations, and the DVDs and stuff to sell. Not much else aside from that. The decorations will stay at the convention hall, but the equipment and merchandise will go back with us, or at least stay in the car.

Equipment transporting sounds like a pain XD but yeah that's a necessary thing.

As for myself, I'll probably just get a 3-day-pass on the website and tag along as an attendee when you don't need me, but like I said I need to see what Travis is planning on doing...
