Event Update
Magic the Gathering Tournaments @ Capital City Gaming - Wednesdays (Weekly) and Second Sundays (Monthly)
Capital City Gaming will be hosting MTG tournaments (non-standard or set dependent) every week on Wednesdays and on the Second Sunday of the month (which we will be attempting to attend). These tournaments are full, no-holds-barred tournaments with no deck restrictions. This is a great event to test Standard Decks for FNM or other events in the area. Kinda like a friend's MTG Gaming Night with Prizes involved. Prize and Prizes are unknown at this time, Please inquire Capital City Gaming and affiliates for more info.
TSG's Top #1 Competition @ Capital City Gaming - 4th Sunday of the Month (Monthly)
Every 4th Sunday of the month, we'll be hosting a Live Community Night at Capital City Gaming! A free to try, Walk-in Event where Members and Players compete for the Title of Top TSG Gamer for the month as well as Video footage of said Gameplay Performance posted to Youtube! The others will to... but The best of the best will be highlighted for all to see. Every Member is welcome to invite others to join in. All Glory to the hypnoto... I mean May the Best Gamer Win!

Gears of War 3 Community Night - Saturday, October 1st, 2011 - Online
The First Community Night for Gears3 since the Beta. Team Deathmatch, Objective, and others. Matchmaking and Custom will be dependent on how many we have at a time. Lots of body chunks will be flying! We'll we cutting everything other than zzzz's that night!

Battlefield 3 Midnight Release 4v4 Tournament - Sponsored by Bestbuy and Sprint - Tuesday October 25th 2011 @ Midnight - Bestbuy (Carlisle Pike)
During a visit to Bestbuy this past week to acquire some new equipment (LED HDTVs), I got to talk to a few Bestbuy Reps about our group and what we do. They asked us to host a Battlefield 3 Midnight Release Tournament at their store with any openbox equipment in the store. They're also in talks with Sprint to use their 4G network in the store for the event. From what I estimate, we may have around 2-3 stations set up to run matches and a possible Live Stream of the Event! Bestbuy is offering the Prizes and we intend to keep the entry fee low.
Match type will be 4v4 and all weapons allowed. Best 2 out of 3, Single Elimination with a 10-12 min time limit per round. More details will come when I talk to Bestbuy again this week.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Midnight Release 4v4 Tournament - Sponsored by Gamestop - Tuesday November 8th @ Midnight - Gamestop (Capital City Mall - Near Hot Topic)
Another big tournament is fast approaching, Midnight MW3 with Gamestop. This tournament will take place inside the mall, rather than the store due to space reasons and on 8 consoles and tvs. Team 4v4 with all weapons and perks allowed (atm). Match time limit: 10 mins, Best 2 out of 3, Single Elimination with prizes provided by Gamestop. Free Entry! We'll have camera footage of the event and post it on Youtube and Facebook as soon as the event is over. More info later this week.

Our first independently operated convention All are Welcome to Join Us for this Historic Event! Includes a possible Live Stream.

TSG Gamer Profiles 001 - Ryan "Canis Lupo" Worley - "The Pack Master"
Something new I whipped up. Gamer Profiles for TSG Members! Basically, this is the details about a particular member's gaming styles, traits and stats (out of 5 "*"s and bonuses) based on whatever we can identify. I'll try posting something once a week or two if I can about different members. Any disputes on stats can be fixed by harassing me for about a week straight...

Coming soon.. ok.. the profile is ready, but stream is a bit shaky at the moment. Soon.. and I mean very soon, several members and I will be streaming gameplay online via Justin.tv for PC and soon Console games. The stream will be set up for live shows at our tournaments with video commentary by spectators and members. Internet Celebs may pop in from time to time as well depending on location. We may have it fixed sometime in the next 2 weeks and have streaming of Halo 2 PC, Starcraft, Diablo 2, and other games we happen to have. We are also looking for more members to stream.
