To make a long story short, Last week, PSN was hacked, and all of our data stolen. Our names, addresses, dob, passwords, psn tags, purchase history, credit card numbers, and activities all copied.. all 70 million accounts...
PSN was taken down as soon as it happened, but the data was already stolen and they're rebuilding PSN completely from the ground up.
No one has taken responsibility for the attack nor has any leads as to where our data has gone.
As a result, everyone is encouraged to change passwords, credit card numbers, and other sensitive data as soon as possible.
