Highlights this month are the ongoing MTG 2012 tournament over Xbox Live, the MTG Standard tournament at Capital City Gaming, and announcements for the Convention next month! We're counting down the days, and it'll be here soon! Till then, check out what's coming up!

Event and Community Update
Duel with a Card Clutched Controller Tournament - Continues
Ending up with 3 players for our TSG Exclusive tournament, we switched to a three player free-for-all. Jeff "Talon Albatross" Montes, Jordan "Hawkeye205066" Belt and myself are beating each other in matches filled with broken alliances, back stabbings and enough mana to hard-cast Emrakul. If we were actually sitting side by side while playing this, I bet each controller would be covered in blood after a session of playing.
Week 2 went off with a shattered alliance causing Jordan to win this week. Close as ever, with each player giving it their all. Rarely did anyone have a substantial amount of life at the end of a round. TSG Community Night Follow Up - Forza Motorsport 4
Forza Night went exceptionally well, with most players playing so long that they were falling asleep at the controllers! We drove a few laps on several tracks with Ryan "Canis Lupo" winning them, but most of our night was spent in an unusual fashion. Tag and Soccer matches between cars. A giant soccer ball being thrown back and forth, or a giant piles of metal and car parts large enough to build a giant fighting robot! ISG DIO NINJA 8 and his SUVs dominated soccer matches with pure weigh and horsepower. Kinds was unfair to whoever was on the other team, but well worth the time we spent! Each player enjoyed the community night and most are eager for the next one.
Next Community Night is League of Legends on PC at the end of April! More details later this month.
TSG Top #1 @ Capital City Gaming - MTG Standard Tournament - March 24th at 1:00 pm
Top #1 keeps pounding away, this time, no frills, Standard MTG Tournament with Capital City Gaming. Swiss Style with Standard restrictions of Magic 2012 Core Set and Scars of Mirrodin expansions and later being allowed. $10 entry fee and the prizes of a Dark Ascension Fat Pack for first and 4 Booster Packs for second. Possible more prizes for third and forth depending on the number of participants. If you don't know, Fat Packs contain 9 booster packs from a set, 70 basic lands, two deck boxes, a spin down die life counter, and an art box. Over $50 in prizes for this tournament, it's sure to draw some great players. Several players usually bring their other decks for after the tournament to just casual game a bit, so don't hesitate to stop by for some fun afterwards!

The "You overdid it a bit" Decoration Contest! - April 14th, 2012 - @ TSG Convention
A TSG Staff Member Voluntarily Mandatory contest to bring one decoration to the convention. Free to Enter, Any TSG Member may enter, but staff members must bring something. It can be anything from a single 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper with a picture on it to something we have to haul in with a truck. (We don't provide trucks). Cosplay also accepted! The single decoration that receives the most praise from Con goers will win One Single Game up to $80 in value for free. Any game, even if it requires a road trip to find, they get the game for free. Think of it as a gift for making TSG Con memorable. The only rules are no bodily fluids, nudity, and confetti and glitter as those are not allowed in the Fire Hall. All entries must be at the Con on the 14th of April to count, otherwise there is no point.
Any staff member who does not submit something will receive a consolation prize they they may not like!

Each Staff member may sell up to 10 items at the convention for their own profit. Anything legal. MTG Cards, Games, DVDs, etc.
Any Illegal items will be placed into Hawkeye's car and taken somewhere (shifty eyes).
With the MTG Tournaments happening during the day, just 10 cards for sale may not be enough. If that is the case and you would like to sell more than 10 items, Our Booths are $45 per person for Staff Members and $50 for non-Staff Members. 10'x10' space with electricity. We also take merch = value for booths, depending on the merchandise for trade.
